Did You Know?

Did you know... When you're threading your machine you want our presser foot in the up position to make sure the thread goes through the tension properly and your machine makes a perfect stitch. When the foot is up the tension is open, when the foot is down the tension closes together.

Now, when you travel with your machine you want to make sure your presser foot is down so you don't hit the button on the back and your foot is lost forever.

Class is starting in 5 minutes. I'm going to finish some pants I'm sewing when class ends.  Sewing makes things all better :)

Hope everybody in the NE is surviving the heat! And I thought we were hot here in SoFlo... DANG... its an oven up there! In the 100's today, that's HOT!

Until next time, Enjoy your moments ~ make them "sew" much fun, Cindy

  1. Nope, didn't know that! Thanks for the good advice.

  2. Oh I am going to check this at once!!!
This might explain why I am always experiencing some tension issue when threading

  3. Great tips as always! I have learned so much from you! It really is hot up in the NE where my girls are! The one out West is used to it, but not my babies up North. They don't even have ac!
