My New Location - (UPDATED) Video

The lease is signed. I got the key and now the work begins.

I thought I would make a little video of my neighborhood and new location of Learn 2 Sew.

And just a couple blocks away is my house. I can walk to work!!

I'm going to close March 27 to April 7. I can't wait to make this move!

Until next time,
Enjoy your moments ~ make them "sew" much fun,
Cindy

  1. Oh I am so excited for you!!! This looks like a great location! It sure is a busy street! And with all those other stores around people will be in and out. Being close to JoAnn's is awesome for you. Walking to work would be great. When I was a little girl we walked everywhere we went: school, church, town, the grocery store, etc.... We lived a block from everything. my mom didn't drive till I was about 12. My aunts took us places that we couldn't walk to. Now, we live too far out of town and on a busy highway, so no walking here.
I do wish we could get out and walk together. That would be awesome!
I'm glad you are wanting to start the getting into shape thing. I'll bet you lose weight during your move. I am not a stress eater. I'm more of a watching tv eater. I don't watch during the day, but at night when I'm settling down is when I like to eat junk. When I'm stressed I find I can't eat much. When I'm sewing I forget to eat sometimes. I actually lost about 8 pounds over the past year without working at it very much. I was somewhat careful, but not very. I lost 50 pounds the year that I was 49. I've gained about half of that back. I got scared last year and decided that I was not going back all the way to where I was. So, now, I've decided to get serious.
