Leaving full of Love

Cancer won last night but it had a hard fight against the soul of Patrick Swayze. It had a hard fight because what was Patrick was strong. What made him strong? - The love that filled him.

Patrick said one thing. He wasn’t afraid to die because he found peace in knowing it’s something that will happen to all of us. He wasn’t alone.

There are lessons around us waiting for us to absorb its knowledge each day. Patrick gave us the movie “Ghost”. In it when he was passing to the other side he said how beautiful it was because he was filled with love while leaving. What kept Patrick alive for so long was the love that filled him.

Love is what life is about

Love is what we are filled with at the start being held in our mothers arms

Love is what we take with us when we have our last breath

Life is about Love.

With the lessons of Patrick’s passing we learn to fill our life with what we love: our family, friends, people who cross our path – laughter, smiles – beauty we see all around us – the beauty we feel inside when wonderful things happen, spending our time doing things that make us smile like sewing, like dancing. This is how we create a wonderful gift for ourselves. This is what keeps us alive and what we take with us when we go….Love. His lesson is to get busy living…feeling the love...being the love."Use your time wisely"

Good bye sweet Patrick. You’re as beautiful inside as you were out. Thank You for the lessons of fighting for life using Love….

Until next time,

Choose to enjoy your moments ~ make them "sew" much fun,

Cindy

  2. Lovely post! I love how you put it all into words. I have a post on all of my blogs about Patrick but had a hard time with it...I loved Patrick on the movie set and outside the movies. He's a rarity in the world of actors, and I am so sad about his passing, but you've really put it in a way that makes me realize how much he did enjoy and love life...he had a wonderful life, and an even better one awaiting him in Heaven.
